Clemson vs. Notre Dame: The 20th-ranked Tigers traveled up to South Bend and took two of three games against the Fighting Irish. In Game 1, Notre Dame scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings, but Clemson still pulled out an 8-5 win in 10 innings. Lindsey Garcia hit a solo home run to give Clemson the lead in the 10th inning and then Alex Brown got some insurance with a 2-run homer. Brown finished the game going 3-6 with two RBI and two runs scored. In Game 2, Notre Dame had a 6-3 lead at the end of the fifth inning, but Clemson scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning and six runs in the top of the seventh inning to get the 11-6 win. Alex Brown had another big game, going 3-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Maddie Moore hit a home run and finished the game 2-3 with a walk, 3 RBI, and two runs. For Notre Dame, Addison Amaral went 2-4 with 3 RBI, and two runs, including a 2-run home run. In Game 3, down to their final strike, Karina Gaskins drove in the game-winning run in a 6-5 Notre Dame victory. After Clemson had climbed out of a 4-0 hole to take a 5-4 lead in the top of the ninth, but the Gaskins two-run single in the bottom of the seventh decided the game.
