From struggling to make the cut to surging up the leaderboard, Jon Rahm used moving day at The Open Championship to put himself into contention for a third major championship.
Rahm shot an 8-under 63 on Saturday to go from 2-over par to 6-under and in second place. The 63 is the lowest round ever for a player at Hoylake in an Open Championship.

If one hole served as a microcosm for Rahm's first three rounds at The Open, it was the par-5 No. 18. After recording bogeys on the first two days, Rahm birdied the hole on Saturday to cap his phenomenal round.

When all was said and done on Saturday, Rahm's big round had him sitting in third place, six shots behind leader Brian Harman and one back of second-place golfer Cameron Young. Rahm is now a threat to win The Open, something that seemed impossible before the third round began.
