Dalton Kincaid admits Bills’ Super Bowl hopes are alive as long as they have Josh Allen
Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

After all the off-season cuts and losses, the Buffalo Bills are gearing up for a trying season. Almost everyone in the NFL world is resigned to the fact that they may not even make it far, even if they reach the playoffs. However, tight end Dalton Kincaid thinks their Super Bowl hopes are alive as long as Josh Allen is manning the pocket.

Almost every person associated with the NFL in any way is asking the same question. After losing all those elite players to salary cap cuts, trades, and free agency, how can the Buffalo Bills expect to compete to their usual standards? Reporter Ashley Wenskoski caught up with the second year entering tight end and asked this exact question.

As long as we got 17 back there, we got a chance. He's a stud. So, I'm excited for it. an unfazed Dalton Kincaid replied

It seems, for the most part, that the mood inside the team building is that Josh Allen can lead the team. Even if the team looks like a shadow of itself.

Dalton Kincaid wants the best. After all, considering what the team has achieved over the past few seasons, playoffs are mandatory goals. It is the Super Bowl that was the ultimate target. Coming up short despite having Pro-Bowl caliber players all across the board, prompted the Bills to almost go through a complete rebuild.

They have released a lot of top-tier talent to trim their cap. However, the next man’s philosophy could help Kincaid and his teammates. They will have to rise and take the reins of the team. It starts with Allen.

Josh Allen to bank on youngsters for the upcoming season

When the Buffalo Bills built their team around Josh Allen in the past few seasons, the expectations were to take advantage of his rookie contract and try for a Super Bowl. Fast forward to today and that goal has not materialized. Instead, they are now going into phase 2 of Allen’s life as their starter.

A situation where new young and upcoming players will be tasked to elevate themselves to take advantage of Allen’s skills. The current roster looks exactly like that with a young offensive group in place. They will have to build a chemistry with Allen as the season progresses.

That chemistry will help the Bills down the stretch. It may not be this year, as Dalton Kincaid hopes it will, but at least if the group can develop together, another Super Bowl window might be opening soon.
